Message from WSPTA Reflections Chair:
I am excited to announce the winners of the 2014-2015 PTA Reflections Contest "The world would be a better place if...". Winners were chosen from over 1,000 entries sent to the state level this year, we had more than 4,000 entries turned in to local PTAs all over the state.
Please join me in congratulating the Outstanding Interpretation, Award of Excellence, and Award of Merit winners in the categories of Dance Choreography, Film Production, Music Composition, Literature, Photography, and Visual Arts. The 27 Outstanding Interpretation entries have been forwarded to National PTA where they will compete with winning entries from all over the USA!
The Reflections Committee has spent the last few days notifying the winners and inviting them to attend a Reflections Ceremony to be held during the WSPTA Convention in April. All artwork will be returned to Region Directors at convention, and from there given to council and local PTAs.
Thank you all for your hard work on the Reflections program this year, we couldn't do it without you!

Rebekah Hawtrey- Primary - Photography - "Love Rocks" - Brown's Poi
The world would be a better place if... We would see love in everything. Why I took this photo is because I love nature and nature loves me back. This rock in this photo is my way to know that nature loves me like a friend. If we all notice the love in everything, even the rocks in our path, the world would be a better place!
Reagan Kress - Primary - Dance - "Be Still" - Grant Center
My world is better while I dance because it makes me happy. Dance is my passion because it makes me healthy, and I can express myself through dance.
